Dan Hiveley is an abstract painter based in Royal Oak, Michigan. He has appeared in several group shows in San Diego, Baltimore, and Michigan. and had a one man show at The now defunct Neil Davis Gallery in Royal Oak in 2006. His works are in several private and corporate collections. He is currently working on a new series of Cold Wax and Oil paintings. The format is much smaller than the large, drippy oil-on-canvas paintings of his past works, yet nonetheless inspiring and engaging.
